Mahasarakham University (MSU) has once again achieved success in the Round University Ranking (RUR) 2024, ranking 14th in Thailand and 1071st around the world, an improvement of 118 places from the previous year.

The RUR ranking focuses on evaluating universities based on teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. MSU?s rankings in these areas are as follows:

Teaching: 13th among Thai universities, 1053rd in the world

Research: 14th among Thai universities, 1018th in the world

International diversity: 14th among Thai universities, 1006th in the world

Financial sustainability: 14th among Thai universities, 1034th in the world

Assoc.Prof. Prayook Srivilai, Acting President of Mahasarakham University, said that he is proud of the ranking results, which are a result of the dedication of the university?s staff, students, and departments in their efforts to develop the university into a quality educational institution in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

MSU is committed to developing the potential of its students to have the knowledge, skills, and ethics to meet the challenges of the 21st century, aiming to become a world-class university and a center of learning, research, and innovation to drive sustainable economic, social, and environmental development in Northeast Thailand.
