MSU Medical Students Win the Best Health Promotion Project Award 2017

Chutikan Sangthong, Wikan Thongwiang, and Kantapon Kleepbua, 1st year students of Faculty of Medicine, Mahasarakham University (MSU) won the best health promotion project award at Thailand 4th Health Promotion Project Conference 2017.

The Thailand 4th Health Promotion Project Conference 2017 was jointly organized by IFMSA Thailand (HeppCon 2017) and IFMSA Boot Camp (3rd Camp) on Saturday, 25 March 2017 at Chulalongkorn Hospital, Bhumisiri building, 1st floor, 13.00-17.00.

There were a number of new health projects from faculty of medicine affiliated to the universities and institutions across Thailand including Mahidol University, Prince of Songkla University, Naresuan University, Srinakharinwirot University, Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, Mahasarakham University, Mae Fah Luang University, Khon Kaen University, Standing Committee of IFMSA and other parties.

MSU medical students have been awarded for the project titled, “Promoting care gives’ mental health by using ‘six senses innovation’ as a relaxation technique”, guided by Dr. Jariya Jiranukul, lecturer at MSU Faculty of Medicine. For their achievement, they will receive a merit award trophy and will be the representatives of Thai medical students to attend the IFMSA IFMSA- International August Meeting 2017 as to contest for The Rex Crossley Awards in September 2017.
